  • I’M NOT GOING TO LIE... One of the joys of being an airline pilot is the healthy chunk of time off we get every couple of months. It gives you the opportunity to get out there and do something you love! Ive had nearly 4 weeks off thanks to how my holiday allowance has fallen this winter. Despite that funnily enough I haven’t been far away from the aviation world during that time - the first couple of weeks I spent in a Simulator working with cadets as they set off on the start of their aviation journey #avgeek 😉. It’s awesome seeing them develop and reminisce of my time at Oxford Aviation academy over 10 years ago 🙈 - time flies!! I was then lucky enough to head to South Africa 🇿🇦 for a week, jam-packing my time full of as much adventure & activity as I could - an amazing place and my first time ever in the Southern Hemisphere (read more on my blog). I absolutely loved it & also took to the skies in a new mode of transport for me - paragliding. WOW! If you haven’t done it and you want that feeling of weightlessness in the skies then def give it a go!
